• What does Effix actually do?

  Effix maps how work moves through your business, removes the steps that add nothing, and hands the repetitive parts to automation and AI. What you get back is a redesigned process with fewer handoffs, no duplicate data entry, and a number you can hold us to.

• Who runs Effix?

  Effix is two people: co-founders Tanner Makings and Clay Stark. Tanner leads process analysis and systems design; Clay leads implementation and delivery. The people who map your process are the people who rebuild it, which is why there is nobody in between to brief.

• Do you work with businesses outside Texas?

  Yes — Effix is based in Texas and works remotely with clients anywhere in the United States. Mapping, redesign and build all happen over calls and shared documents, so where you are is not the constraint — access to the people who actually run the process is.

• Which processes should we automate first?

  Start where the work is repetitive, high-volume, and passes through several people. For most small businesses that means invoicing, new-lead follow-up, and client onboarding — the three we walk through step by step on the Why It Works page. The assessment call is where we confirm which one is costing you most.

• What happens on the free assessment call?

  The assessment call runs 30 minutes and costs nothing. You describe the processes that feel slow or expensive, and we come back with an honest read on where the biggest savings are and what it would take to get them. If the answer is that you don't need us for this, that is what we'll tell you.

• Is this process consulting or AI?

  Effix does both, and process comes before AI: subtraction first, because automating a wasteful process only makes the waste run faster. Once the steps that add nothing are gone, AI absorbs what's left of the repetitive work — data entry, follow-ups, document handling, drafting.
